In some Latin American countries, if you agree to meet a person for dinner at 6 PM, both people know that really the time agreed on was more like 8 PM. In America, however, tardiness is definitely frowned upon. I remember in primary school being singled out and yelled at for arriving late to school. If you\u2019re late and keep somebody waiting for you, it\u2019s a sign that you don\u2019t respect the people you were meeting.
