2) Andy: What were you doing when the postman arrived?

3) Andy: What were you doing when the telephone rang?
Joy: I was just opening the front door.
4) Andy: What was she doing while she slipped and hurt horself?
Joy: She was getting off the bus.
5) Andy: What was he doing while he cut himself?
Joy: He was shaving.
6) Andy: What were you doing while your wife was cooking the dinner?
Joy: I was working in the garden.
