Nokia unveiled its first, next generation color-screen mobile phone on September 26, 2002 that will enable mobile operators to test fast 3G networks but will not be available to consumers until next year. The model 6650 has a built-in camera, a large color screen and will work on the current, second generation of GSM networks as well as the third generation WCDMA systems. (Nokia via Reuters)
