British Prime Minister David Cameron issued a strong warning to Pakistan over its alleged support for terrorism, as Britain seeks closer ties with India. During a visit to the Indian city of Bangalore Wednesday, Mr. Cameron said Britain wants a strong, stable and democratic Pakistan that does not "promote the export of terror" to India, Afghanistan or anywhere else in the world.

A spokesman for Pakistan's foreign ministry (Abdul Basit) rejected Mr. Cameron's remarks, telling the BBC the comments were based on claims that are "unverifiable." Mr. Cameron is leading a large trade mission to India aimed at improving economic ties to create jobs in both countries.
