The U.S. House of Representatives will vote Wednesday on a measure that would punish China and other countries who allegedly undervalue their currencies. U.S. lawmakers and businesses have accused Beijing of manipulating the yuan to make Chinese exports cheaper in the global market. They say this has led to a loss of millions of manufacturing jobs in the U.S., and a massive trade deficit with China. That deficit totaled $145 billion during the first seven months of this year.
