台湾将使色情业合法化

Taiwan says it intends to decriminalize the sex trade under a plan that would allow prostitutes to establish small scale brothels.The Interior Ministry said Thursday that groups of three to five sex workers could be allowed to set up brothels under new rules to regulate the sex trade. The establishments would be restricted to areas not frequented by children.

台湾说打算将性交易「除罚化」，这个计划将允许妓女建立一些小规模的妓院。台湾内政部星期四说，根据对色情业进行规范的新规定，由3到5个性工作者组成的团体将获准建立妓院。这些妓院将被限制在儿童不常出入的地区。

Prostitution was legal in the capital Taipei until 1997, and there still is no law to punish customers of prostitutes.The ministry says it has decided against permitting special "red-light districts," where prostitution and other illicit activity could be conducted openly. It says it does not want to turn the sex trade into a regular industry.

妓女到1997年为止在台北市都是合法的，而且目前仍没有对嫖客进行惩罚的法律。内政部表示，他们决定不允许建立妓女可以公开进行性交易和其他非法活动的特殊“红灯区”。内政部说，他们不要把色情业变成一个正常的产业。
