对于那些突如其来，料想不到的，通常给人带来不快甚至是灾祸的事件，汉语中常用“晴天霹雳”来描述。英语中用的则是a bolt from the blue。Bolt这个词在这里的解释是thunder bolt，即“电闪雷鸣”；而blue则是用蓝色来喻指“天空”。因此，英语中的a bolt from the blue和汉语中的“晴天霹雳”从字面到内涵竟然完全一样，这不能不说是一种巧合：
