NOTE1: nerd单词中er在美音里面要有儿化，英音则没有；
NOTE2: It means that he's a bookworm who pays attention only to books.

2) Don't tell tales out of school.
NOTE1: Don't和tell的连读，out和of的连读；
NOTE2: It means that you shouldn't gossip behind others.

This morning, when I was having breakfast in the dining hall, I heard someone talking about Andy.
"Andy is just a nerd. He knows nothing besides study. When I see him, he will be holding a book in his hand and he is not interested in any activity, so I don't think it is a good idea to elect him monitor in our class. In my opinion, a leader in class should be an all-round one."
After hearing this, I stood up and said to that guy, "my dear fellow, don't tell tales out of school. This is Andy here and I have heard what you said."

一次吃早餐的时候，Andy偶然听见有人在背后谈论他，说他是个书呆子，He is a nerd. 说什么也不会选他当班长。接下来他们又提出一个理由就是班长应该是一个全面的、综合素质比较强的学生干部。其实这些说法都是对的。可是在Andy看来可是很难容忍的，竟然在背后说我的坏话，于是Andy站起来警告他们不要背后论人是非！Don't tell tales out of school！
