After the meal

Rich: Are you going to watch the Indy Five Hundred on TV this weekend?
Taylor:I’m not really into racecar driving.
Rich: You were when we were in high school. That, and baseball.
Taylor:Yeah, well, times change. Look at you-you’re a father now. You can’t say that you haven’t changed.
Rich: True, but I still have to watch my baseball. The season’s in full swing now.
Taylor:I mean, I know spring training’s over, but I’m just not into all that.
Rich: [Knocking on Taylor’s head] Hello? Is the real Taylor in there?

Indy Five Hundred

李奇： 的确，但是我还是非看棒球不可。现在球季正打得火热呢。
泰勒： 我是说，我知道春季训练已经结束了，但我就是对那些不感兴趣。
李奇： （敲泰勒的头）哈啰，真正的泰勒在里面吗？

At the grill

Rich: Now the coals are just right. I can start grilling.
Yi-jun: Here you go. I made up the burger patties for you.
Rich: Thanks. Smell the hickory chips? They give the meat a nice, smoky flavor.
Yi-jun: [Moves toward the grill] I’ll take over for a while to give you a break.
Rich: Sorry. This is a one-man job. I’ve got the grill just how I like it, and I’ve made up my own special sauce.
Yi-jun: Then I’ll tell folks the food’s ready. [yells] Come and get it! [to Rich] I’ve always wanted to say that!

怡君：（移向烤肉架）我来接手一下，让你休息。
李奇：抱歉。这是一人才做得来的工作。我已经把火候调成我心目中的样子了，而且我也调了特制的酱汁。
怡君：那我要跟大家说食物好啰。（喊）来吃喔。（对李奇）我想说那句话已经很久了！

Taylor walks over

Yi-jun:Taylor, you’re sweating up a storm!
Taylor:Your boyfriend, Bryan, wanted to toss the football. I think he wore me out.
Yi-jun: Yeah, you look a little shaky. And pale. You seriously need some time in the sun.
Taylor:You’re like the tenth person to say that.
Yi-jun:We’re just worried about you, Taylor.
Taylor:Whatever. I wish people would just leave me alone! [storms off]

wear out
使精疲力尽。wear的过去式是wore
If you don’t change the motor oil, your car engine will wear out very quickly.

shaky (a.)
摇晃的，不稳固的
I feel all shaky after watching that horror movie.

storm off

泰勒：你大概是第十个这么说的人了。
怡君：我们只是担心你，泰勒。
泰勒：随便啦。我希望大家别来烦我了！（生气离去）
