有人打电话找同事,但不巧这个人不在,你可以告诉对方:
He’s not here.
他不在。

若是对方询问你的同事为何不在,你可以说:
John is away on a business trip.
约翰出差了。
He will be back in the office on Friday of next week.
他要下星期五才会进公司。

帮客户转录音机
接下来,你可以帮对方转录音机:
You can leave him a voice message.
您可以留言在他的语音信箱。
I will transfer you. Please hold.
我帮你转到他的分机,请稍候。

请对方写e-mail
如果要请对方寄e-mail,你会需要以下的句子:
You can send him an e-mail.
您可以发e-mail给他。
His address is ezjohnny@ccw.com.tw.
他的电子信箱是ez Johnny,小老鼠,ccw点com点tw。
He will get in contact with you when he returns.
他回来后就会跟你联络。
He checks his e-mail every day.
他每天都会收e-mail。
When he sees your e-mail, he will write you back.
他看到你的e-mail会给您回复。

紧急电话的处理方法
若对方有急事,非跟你同事联络上不可,你可以请对方拨行动电话:
You can call his / her cell phone.
你可以打他的行动电话。
Do you have a pen and paper?
你有纸笔吗?
His cell phone number is 0963-442-441.
他的行动电话号码是○九六三四四二四四一。

或帮对方拨行动电话给同事:
I’m afraid I can’t give out his cell phone number.
