【50】Tell Me What You Really Think

Tell Me What You Really Think…But Don’t Really Tell Me…

Most people don’t have money growing on trees, so they like to weigh their purchases carefully before spending their money. People may put a lot of thought into what they buy- even a small purchase like a pair of shoes or a shirt- so don’t disappoint them by saying that their purchase is stupid or unwise. If you are asked, “How do you like my new shirt/ring/car?” you should always make a positive comment. Unless you are very, very good friends with the person, it’s better not to be absolutely honest with a person. If you hate the new shirt they are wearing, okay, but don’t tell them that! Say instead, “That’s a really unique shirt- I like the color a lot,” or something else detailed yet vague.
