Mermaid

Mermaid就是童话故事里的“美人鱼”了。她生活在大海，双腿不见了，留下的是迷人的鱼尾巴（迷人?*_*)不过前几天有报道说挪威的一湖边也有一个女子办成mermaid,不过这次是bare-breasted(裸胸的）blonde(金发的）mermaid.搞得游客张大了嘴，看的一愣一愣的（gape in disbelief).满有趣的。

Kitchen

Hans is in his friend Peter's house. They are in the kitchen, making something to eat. They only want a quick snack and a cup of tea,（吃顿快餐喝杯茶） but there weren't any clean cups and plates,（杯子和碟子） so first Peter did the washing-up,（洗餐具） and then put the plates on a rack on the draining board. （滴水板的盘碟架上）He dried a few cups and glasses with a teatowel.（茶巾）

Hans has cut a couple of slices （两片）of bread from the loaf to make himself a sandwich.（给自己做三明治） He buttered （涂黄油）the bread, and then put some slices of cheese and tomato in the sandwich. He pours（倒） himself a glass of orange juice from the jug. （壶）Peter is making the tea.（沏茶） He puts some teabags（袋装茶叶） into the teapot,（茶壶） and then pours boiling water into it from the kettle.（水壶） Hans helps himself to some tea as well.（自己动手弄了点茶喝） Peter has his tea with milk, （奶茶）but Hans prefers tea with lemon.（柠檬茶） Peter says in fact he likes cookery（烹饪） very much.
