The International Monetary Fund says Europe's debt crisis could disrupt global trade and threaten Asia's economy.

IMF Deputy Managing Director Naoyuki Shinohara told a forum in Singapore Wednesday that with advanced economies such as the United States experiencing a "subdued" recovery from the global recession, Asia will continue to lead the world economic rebound.
