Starbucks is a famous coffee company in America. Every major city has a Starbucks café- and usually many other kinds of coffee shops. People go to coffee shops to socialize with each other in America. It’s common to ask someone if they want to “go grab a cup of coffee” when you want to hang out with that person. Coffee shops offer a relaxed atmosphere that seems to help conversation flow. Soft music usually plays in the background, and tables are arranged in intimate ways so people can talk in private over their coffee. Bars also offer a good environment to chat with friends except instead of coffee, people drink beer, wine, or other kinds of alcohol.
