Tony: Hi, Tina, would you like to meet my favorite actress? She is visiting me this weekend!
Tina: Let me guess. She made her swan song in Raise the Red Lantern, right?
Tony: Yes! You know, she said this the other day at the press conference, “Time for me to take forty winks now.”
Tina: Well, I think for her, the advertising business is a real gravy train. She is actually making more money now than she did as an actress!
Tony: That I don’t know.
Tina: Introduce me to her. Let me ask her hard questions.

Think Before You Hail A Cab!

Taking taxis is way more common in China than in America. Only in certain large cities like New York are taxis found in large numbers. Usually, the only time people take taxis is when they need a ride to the airport and don’t have any offers from friends or family members. Most people own their own cars, and those that can’t afford a car probably don’t have the extra money to take a taxi. Taxis can be extremely expensive- especially when you remember that you must tip the driver! If you’re in a large city and find yourself in the rain and without a ride, it’s best to call up a friend to ask a favor or take the bus. Or, take refuge in a coffee shop or library and wait out the rain shower!
