Ciao（再见的说法）

Tony向Tina询问Ciao这个词汇的意思，原来这是个外来语，还是个时髦用法。

Tony：Hi, Tina! I have a question for you.
Tina：Yes, Tony, an English problem?
Tony：Yes, why does my American teacher say “Ciao” when I say goodbye to him?
Tina：He is saying goodbye to you too. “Ciao” is an Italian word for goodbye here.
Tony：Is that so? Why is my teacher so fond of the word?
Tina：Well, you see, many of my Chinese friends use the English word “bye” when they part with each other. It’s supposed to be kinda fashionable.
Tony：No wonder! I just hope one day you guys find Chinese fashionable and use a lot of Chinese. It will be easier for me to learn English.

Anne Heche is not expected to survive the brain injury she suffered in a fiery car crash in Los Angeles and is being kept on life support to determine if her organs are viable, according to her family.
