*“ go to the +具体场所”这一结构经常表示“去某处做与该处相关的事情”

seat 与 sit
sit 是不及物动词，表示动作，不直接带宾语。
常见搭配：sit down , sit in a chair 错误用法：sit a chair
seat 是及物动词，必须接宾语或者用被动语态形式的谓语。
I seat myself on a bench. 我坐在一条板凳上。
Please be seated, ladies and gentlemen. 女士们，先生们，请就坐。
错误用法：Seat down, please.
play
1.戏，玩耍，比赛，剧本
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. 光学习不玩耍，聪明的孩子也变傻。
2.玩游戏，参加体育运动 play cards 玩牌 play basket-ball 打篮球
3.演奏乐器 play the piano 弹钢琴
4.扮演角色，起某种作用
He plays Mao Zedong in this film. 他在这部电影中扮演毛泽东。
Vocabulary plays an important part in language learning. 词汇量在语言学习中起很大作用。
5. play at sth. 敷衍 He only plays at his job. 他对工作只是敷衍了事。
play the fool 做蠢事
5.词性变换：playful 好玩的，有趣的
player 从事或参加某项运动的人
*很多情况下“动词+er”构成的名词不宜翻译成“……者”，而是翻译成相应的动词。
You are a nice swimmer. 你游泳游得不错。
Tony is a great dancer. Tony 跳舞真棒。
loud
1. 响亮的
2. 显眼的，引人注目的 The dress is a bit loud. 那件连衣裙花哨了点。
His manner is too loud.他的样子太招摇。
3. loud speaker 扬声器
4. 词性变换：loud---loudly---aloud
attention
1.pay attention to 注意
这是英语中很有代表性的一种短语结构，“动词+名词+介词”，其中名词是短语的核心词，短语的意思变化体现在名词定语的变化上。
make use of 利用 make full use of 充分利用
play a role in 起作用 play an important role in 起重要作用
take care of 照看，照顾 take good care of 好好照顾
bear 忍受
同义词 stand I can’t stand the heat here. 这里热，我受不了。
get used to 适应，习惯
can’t help doing 禁不住、忍不住要做某事
The audience can’t help laughing at the joke. 听了笑话，观众们忍不住笑了。
