nowhere means not anywhere.是指无处的意思。例如：where are you going at the weekend? Nowhere special. 你打算到哪里度周末？无处可去。 He was going nowhere with his homework until his sister helped him. 他在姐姐的帮助下作业才有进步。

Nowhere 常用的固定搭配有：nowhere to be found or seen, it means impossible for anyone to find or see.指任何人都找不到或看不见的意思。例如：The children were nowhere to be seen. 孩子们都没影儿了。

愤怒无济于事。愤怒时，我们常会听到别人这么说：I don’t want to hear any excuses. 我不想听到任何解释。 I am mad. 气疯我了。 这时，我们可以回答：stop complaining.别抱怨了。
