托福与雅思的作文测试, 无所谓及格不及格. 所在乎的是满意不满意. 也没有标准答案, 但是有答案标准. 我们要讨论的正是答案标准. 高分作文不必十全十美, 少犯错误即可. 按两种国际英文作文考试的官方评分指南, 共同强调一套标准. 这一套标准, 我们可以用来当作作文的答案标准. 简单说明如下>

话分两头. 一头是逻辑思考, 一头是英文写作. Thinking logically and writing grammartically

逻辑思考 thinking: 主题, 结构, 内容.

英文写作 writing: 用语, 用句, 用字.

进一步说明

主题--焦点集中 thisis--well focused

结构--前后连贯 structure--well organized

内容--支持主题 content--well supported

用语--语言生动 rhetoric--language effectiveness

用句--句型变化 syntax--sentence variety

用字--用字恰当 lexicon--word usage

接着, 我们细读托福和雅思作文的评分指南, 简要英文原文. IELTS band 9 or TOEFL 28-30 : expert user of written English

writing at rhetorical, syntactic, and lexical levels

--effectively addresses the writing task

--is well organized and well developed

--uses clearly apropriate details to support a thesis or illustrate ideas

Task response

--fully addresses all parts of the task

--presents a fully developed position in answer to the question with relevant, extended and well supported ideas

Coherence and cohesion

--uses cohesion in such a way that it attracts no attention

--skilfully manages paragraphing

Lexical resources

--uses a wide range of vocabulary with very natural and sophisticated control of lexical features

Grammatical range and accuracy

--uses a wide range of structures with full flexibility and accuracy
