Topic Type: Explain and Describe
题型: 说明与描述

Now we have come to one type of writing topics about which you are neither required to agree or disagree to a statement, nor do you need to compare two opposing views. All you need to do is explain and describe whatever writing task assigned to you. Such a type not being uncommon, plenty of related topics can be found in the collections of TOEFL Test of Written English and IELTS writing task 2.

This lecture is, then, intended to illustrate a strategy dealing with writing topics related to this type by giving example essays as task responses.
