1. Multicultural society brings more benefits to the country than drawbacks. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
2. Some people think visitors to other countries should imitate local custom and behaviors. Others think the host country should welcome cultural diversity. Discuss.
3. The cultures of different countries are becoming similar so there is no point for people to go travelling abroad for they could have same experience at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
4. Working and living abroad helps us to know other cultures well. Discuss good and bad impacts of working abroad on our cultural lives.
5. The idea of going overseas for university study is an exciting prospect for many people. But while it may offer some advantages, it is probably better to stay home because of the difficulties a student inevitably encounters living and studying in a different culture. To what extent do you agree or disagree this statement? Give reasons for your answer.
6. Nowadays, many people from different nationalities and cultures get married together. Which do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of this?
