今天是2000年的最后一天了，时间过的可真快啊！记得小的时候老是盼着过春节，母亲会给我们做新的衣服，有好多糖果，一个一个的放鞭炮...真是无忧无虑的童年。现在也会沉浸在节日的氛围中，只是没有那么迫切了，而且随着一年一年的过去，心头隐隐会些惆怅。觉得自己在这繁杂的世界中，每一年都能够有一份童心才是最可贵的。朋友的友情，家人的亲情才是我们心灵深处的依托吧！ 衷心祝愿所有关心世博英语成长的朋友新的一年中身体健康，学习进步，事业有成！ 为大家准备了精彩的mini-passage,我很喜欢。

Workaholic

A workaholic is a person who works too much. A workaholic lives to work, rather than works to live. In American, it is generally thought that being a workaholic is unhealthy and harmful.

工作狂似工作过度的人。他是为工作而活，而不是为了生活而工作。在美国，一般人都觉得工作过度是不健康的，甚至于有害健康。

Carpool

A carpool is when two or more commuters share driving expenses by riding together in one car. Many cities encourage carpooling by providing one lane during rush hour exclusively for cars with three or more passengers.
