第9课我们学过at, in, on, from, till, during, until 我们来简单复习一下：

at

at 10 o’clock
at lunch
at night
at noon

in

in the morning
in 1984
in April
in winter
in ten minutes （在多少时间后；在某段时间内）

on
on Monday
on May 1st （读作：on may the first）

from…till：一段明确的时间
from June till October
during：整个一段时间内
during the summer
until：主句动词（动作）为短暂动作，常用否定形式：not…until
I won’t leave until Monday.

33课我们学习了：
from, to
into, out of
for：有些动词后面表示“往”、“向”的意思，比如：go for home（回家）；set out fro New York（动身去纽约）
towards：“朝”、“向”、“接近”。
At 不礼貌的、生气的。比如：throw at

本课：

用于表示地点和位置的介词和副词：at，in，off
用于描写人的介词：in和with

In和at都可以表示“在…地方”、“在…位置”的意思。
At表示某个地址或是某一个点：

He lives at 27 West Street. 他住在西大街 27号。
A large crowd was waiting at the bus stop. 一大群人在公共汽车站等候。
I'll see you at the station.我将到车站送你。
Someone is at the door. 有人敲门。

而in表示“里面”或“包围”的含义。

There were a lot of people in the street. 街上有许多人。
I would like to live in a warm country. 我喜欢住在一个气候温暖的国家。
He lives in Berlin. 他住在柏林。
Let's go for a walk in the park.让我们到公园去散散步。
Where's Tom? He's in his room. 汤姆在哪里？他在自己的房间里。

有时在表示地点时，我们即可以用at，也可以用in，但是有其细微的差别的：

at可以表示是“里面”，“靠外面”或是“靠旁边”的地点概念，我们不清楚确切的地点。
而in只表示“在里面”。比如：
I’ll meet you at the hotel.（我们不能确定是指在门口、靠门外还是在宾馆里面）
I’ll meet you in the hotel.（这里，我们知道我们必须到宾馆里面去。）

Off表示“与…分离”(separation),反义为on。

（The lid was on the jar.）The lid came off easily. 这个盖子很容易掉。
(You have your coat on.)Take your coat off. 把你的外套脱下来。
(The pencil was on the table.)The pencil rolled off the table. 铅笔滚到桌子下面去了。

In和with

In通常用于表示穿着，with则表示身上的某个具体特征或随身带着什么。比如：

Can you see that woman in the blue coat? 你能看见那个穿蓝外套的女士吗？
He was dressed in a black suit. 他穿着一套黑衣服。
That man with long hair is supposed to be a poet. 那个留着长发的男人应该是个诗人。
The police are looking for a man with a scar on his face. 警察正在搜寻一个脸上有疤的男人。
The woman with the brown handbag and long umbrella is a famous novelist. 那个手上拿着棕色手提包和长柄伞的女士是一位著名的小说家。
