【世博精解】

although 是指虽然；尽管的意思。例如：Although I wanted him not to, he insisted on doing it. 虽然我不要他做，但他坚持要做。这句话我们也可以说：Though I wanted him not to, he insisted on doing it. 在这里，我们可以用though代替although。although与 though作为连接词在意义上没有什么差别，都作“虽然”解释，只是although比though 语气强。although 或 though引导状语从句，常采用省略形式。例如：Although tired, he kept on working. = Although he was tired, he kept on working.

要注意的是，当 though = and yet 时，还是不用 although 代替为好。例如：No one is infallible, though there are some people who think they are. 每个人都回犯错误，但是有些人自以为是不会犯错误的。这样用法的though 并不具有“让步”的意思，而且有“转折”的功能。

full of sth 是固定搭配。它的一个意思是饱含的，充满的。还有一个意思是指头脑里充满某想法的，只想着某事物的。例如：He was full of new ideas.他满脑子都是新奇的想法。

关于full，在口语里有这么一个说法:a full bath, 指带澡盆的卫生间。
