1．shape

shape的原意是“形状，外形”，可以引申为“状态，情况”，如：
Let’s try and get this room into shape before mother gets home.
让我们在妈妈回家之前把屋子收拾好。

shape可以和许多形容词结合，例如：
bad shape
She’s been working too hard and she’s in pretty bad shape.
她工作太累，以致她现在的身体状况很不好。

2．love handles

意思是Unsightly fat around the waist（腰部的赘肉），来看两个例子：

You'd better lose those love handles fast.
你最好快把你的肥肚子减掉。

I exercise every day, but I can’t get rid of these love handles.

according as表示“视乎”，和according to…意思相近，它们的区别就在于according as是连词词组，其后接从句。

例如这句话“给他们的赏罚将视乎他们工作的好坏来决定”用两种方式来表达就是：

They will be praised or blamed according to their work.
