第六十课 The future 卜算未来

一、摘要写作

1、摘要练习

分别使用快速阅读法、听写法和合并法练习写摘要。

将合并句子写的摘要贴到会员社区。自己根据课文内容，将可以合并的句子合并，去掉一些细节，篇幅争取控制在50字到60字。

2、继续做两句话概括的练习。

用两句概括，请大家自己做。

从第三十一课开始，我不再提供摘要练习的答案。请大家认真做好摘要练习，这是提高表达能力，进而提高写作能力，特别是围绕中心进行写作的好方法。希望大家坚持，我会在会员社区帮大家修改摘要，并且适当做一些讲评，选出比较好的摘要供大家参考。

二、本课重点：进行时表示未来的计划

动词的进行时一般表示动作在说话的时候正在进行，但有的时候，也可以用来表示将来动作，比如一些动词，如go, come, leave, arrive等，使用进行时态可以表示最近将要发生的事情，如：
1. I am leaving at 4 o’clock.
2. He is coming in a few minutes.
3. I am visiting his parents this evening.

这个用法一般都有具体的时间，而且，常常有计划或意图做的事情的含义，又比如：
4. What are you doing this evening?

不过，在复合句中，这种用法就需要特别小心，如：
5. I will meet her when she comes.
6. He will look after her if she is tired.

三、值得学习的句子
1. At a village fair, I decided to visit a fortune-teller called Madam Bellinsky.
Yesterday afternoon, I found the book called The Future.
I didn’t have the time to finish that movie titled “Return to the Future”.
I can’t remember the date of the exhibition entitled “The Best Artist of the Century”.

2. The moment you leave this tent, you will get a big surprise.
The moment he calls your name, he is no longer entitled to this reward.
The minute they were met at the airport, they felt completely relaxed.
The second their eyes met, the world seemed to fade away.

3. As soon as I went outside, I forgot all about Madam Bellinsky.
As soon as their eyes met, the world seemed to fade away.
I’ve heard all about you.

4. As she walked away, I followed her out of the fair.
I followed her out of the maize.
