基本动词take的总结（4）

继续上次对“take”的整理：

61. 长裙款式有一段时间不流行了。

The fashion for long skirts didn't take on for some time.

62. 我怎么才能除去衬衫上的墨迹？

How can I take out these inkstains from my shirt?

63. 我每周日带女友去饭馆吃晚饭。

I always take my wife out for dinner every Sunday.

In the strain fo Chinese character, the dominating factor is the Confucius and Mencius philosophy of order, courtesy『礼节』, and benevolence『n.慈悲』. A history of thousands of years has carved out the unique character that is more reserved than aggressive, more peaceful than adventurous, more homogeneous than heterogeneous——in a word, more inward than outward.

在中国人个性特征中，主导因素是孔孟关于秩序、礼节和慈悲的哲学。几千年的历史所刻画出的独特个性重内敛而轻外侵、重和平而轻冒险、重同种而轻异类——简而言之，就是内向而非外向。

【strain我们最熟悉的意思就是做动词、名词“扭伤，拉紧”的意思，而strain作为名词还有一个解释就是“血统，民族特征，气质”，所以在上面的文章中就成了“个性特征”的意思。】
