Do you have trouble relaxing（放松）? Does your body hurt（受伤） after exercise? If so, try using some massage（按摩） oil that has lavender in it. Lavender was used by kings and queens hundreds of years ago to help them relax and make their rooms smell pleasant（令人舒适的）.

Lavender has additional（另外的） uses in cooking. It tastes（尝） great in or on salads（色拉）, cookies, jams and chicken. Since（由于） it is part of the mint（薄荷） family, its sweetness gives a lovely taste on dishes（菜肴） usually thought to be bitter（苦）.

她喜欢古典音乐。

（2）做动词，表示“品尝、体验”等，如：
He has never tasted defeat.
他从未尝过失败的滋味。
