As quiet as a mouse

Definition: Extremely quiet, doesn't talk much.

The little girl is as quiet as a mouse. She is a girl of few words. 和老鼠有关的成语还有一些,与quiet as a mouse像类似的有 poor as a church mouse,表示一贫如洗。

Example dialog:

Jim: I’ll never send my kid brother to any blind date again! It always ended up with the girl’s comments like “I’m wondering why he was just sitting out there as quiet as a mouse”

John: Good thing is that those girls were not wondering why Mike appeared always as poor as a church mouse.
