Chandler: I can't believe you did this.
Ross: Chandler-
Joey: Me neither, y'know what-
Chandler: I'm still mad at you for not telling me.
Joey: What are you mad at me for?!
Ross: Chandler-
Chandler: You gotta let me slam the door!
Joey: Chandler, I didn't kiss her, he did!

【世博视角】

相信大家都会用be angry with sb 来表达“对某人生气”，其实在口语中还有个更夸张的说法，那就是be mad at sb，不过要注意这是典型的美式用法，英国人则说be mad with sb，例如：

My boss is mad at me for missing the meeting. (American English)
His wife will be really mad with him.(British English)

mad后面还可以跟介词about, be mad about sb 可不是“疯狂地生某人的气”，而是“疯狂地爱着某个人” 就相当于be crazy about sb，譬如：Jack and I were mad about each other.

在生气的时候，很多人都会狠狠地摔东西以解气，在上面的对话中Chandler就说他要“摔门” slam the door, 另外，平时我们说的“给某人吃闭门羹”，用英语来表示的话就可以是slam the door in somebody's face，例如：

It's a lot harder to slam a door in someone's face than it is to hang up on them. （挂别人的电话可比请别人吃闭门羹容易多了。）
